Privacy Policy

This policy covers Cekipet, a mobile app for iOS and Android published by Hikode. It explains what data the app collects, what it doesn't, and why it asks for the permissions it does.
The short version
Cekipet doesn't require an account, doesn't send your data anywhere, and doesn't run analytics or advertising SDKs. Everything you enter — enclosure profiles, animal and plant records, care logs, photos — is stored locally on your device. We never see it.
Information we collect
None, by default. Cekipet is offline-first: all data you create lives in a local database on your device. In the current version of the app, there is no cloud sync and no backend server, so there is nothing for us to collect, store, or lose on our end.
Permissions the app requests, and why
- Camera — to scan QR codes you've generated for an animal or plant profile, so you can quickly open it later.
- Photo library — to let you set a profile photo for an enclosure, animal, or plant, and to save a generated QR code as an image if you choose to.
- Notifications — to remind you about scheduled care tasks you've set up yourself inside the app. We don't send any other kind of notification.
None of these permissions are used to collect data for us — they exist so features work, and the resulting data (photos, scheduled tasks) stays on your device.
In-app purchases
Cekipet offers an optional Premium unlock (monthly, yearly, or lifetime) through Apple's App Store and Google Play billing systems. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never receive or store your card details.
Third-party services
Cekipet does not include analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or crash-reporting services that transmit your data off-device. The only third parties involved are Apple and Google, strictly for processing in-app purchases through their standard billing systems.
Data sharing
We don't sell, rent, or share your data with anyone, because we don't have access to it in the first place. It stays on your device, under your control.
Data retention and deletion
Since there's no server-side account, there's no separate "delete my data" request to make. Uninstalling the app removes its local data from your device. If you'd like guidance on clearing specific records without uninstalling, reach out and we'll help.
Children's privacy
Cekipet is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children — in practice, this is moot, since the app doesn't collect personal information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way — for example, if a future version adds cloud sync — we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above, and note the change in the app's release notes.
